Bringing artists, activists, and technologists together to explore our role in reshaping the future
The theme for Re–Fest 2023 is Re-New, which critically examines our culture’s obsession with newness, reframing our relationship to creation and progress. How can we prioritize ancestral knowledge and forgotten technologies in order to renew our relationship with creation and innovation? CultureHub’s annual festival activates our community through performances, workshops, VR work, conversations, and a virtual gallery of international video art.
Re–Fest brings artists, activists, and technologists together to explore our role in reshaping the future. My piece will be on display at the La MaMa Galleria from April 20–29. The gallery will be activated by performances, conversations, and telematic exchanges with the other festival site in LA.
