Covid-19 has opened apertures of experience for interdependence. Likewise, urban humanities practices disrupt the desire for a “return to normality,” not only in terms of Covid-19, but in other areas where our collective existence in cities is threatened, fraying or under-resourced. If “portals” bring movement and vision, translations and exchange, new departures and arrivals, how can we construct them?
